Job Summary The Bookkeeper/Office Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the front office as well as assisting in the maintenance of our financial records.
Duties/Responsibilities The Bookkeeper will successfully perform the following tasks, duties, and
Responsibilities:
Hold proficiency in AR/AP, cash flow management, invoicing, and Purchase Orders (POs).
Creating new job entries and handling all bookkeeping-related tasks.
Competence in using Microsoft Dynamics.
Pay approved expenses.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and correct ledgers as needed.
Greet customers, clients, vendors, and other visitors to the front office.
Notify relevant employees when visitors arrive.
Schedule and attend meetings as needed; taking notes and recording minutes.
Organize reception area, while complying with office procedures, rules, and regulations.
Keep a record of office supply inventory and expenses.
Send, distribute and receive mail and deliveries.
Other duties as required in support of the department and the Company Qualifications The Bookkeeper should possess the following skills, characteristics, and abilities:
Exceptional customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Comfortability in Microsoft Dynamics Must be detail oriented and well organized with effective time management skills.
Education and Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
Additional Requirements Travel Requirements less than 10% Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
