30PM (Mon-Thurs) - 40-50 employees on shift at a time in plantAs a critical member of a rapidly growing roll forming company, you will be vital in the company's success! The production Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination and control of production activities.
A successful candidate will manage, coordinate, develop, and improve all aspects of manufacturing including but not limit to safety, production, quality procedures, schedule adherence, and workforce.
Functions:
Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Completion of various production reports and the analysis of efficiency, scrap, downtime, and more related data to pinpoint areas of potential improvement.
Ensure compliance to productivity, quality and health and safety standards.
Enforces and administers all safety policies, conducts safety training, and investigates and reports accidents.
Monitor the manufacturing process to maintain quality control standards and ensure that all products meet or exceed specifications.
Education/Learning Experience High School degree or Equivalent.
Associates degree preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including roll forming, welding, and assembly on the manufacturing line Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environmentInterested in hearing more?
