Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled NDT Level II Technician to ensure the integrity of our products for defense applications.
The NDT Level II Technician will play a crucial role in performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on various components to guarantee that they meet stringent quality and safety standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, radiographic, and liquid penetrant inspections on components.
Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine the structural soundness and quality of the products.
Maintain accurate records of test results, procedures, and equipment calibration.
Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to ensure products meet industry and company standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of NDT procedures and protocols.
Identify and report any product defects or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT SB1 ).
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, such as ASNT SNT-TC-1A and ASTM.
Minimum of 2 years SB2 of experience in NDT testing of steel components.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A strong commitment to safety and quality.
Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
